Conceiving a new piece..

Looking forward to working on this painting which is called “Angels’ Whispers”. This piece was conceived at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed by the possibility of a bad diagnosis. The photo shows two of my students in 7th-grade high school. I had told them that I was looking for models for my new painting and that the painting would illustrate how God was trying to talk to me and cheer me up. I said that I was looking for angels to be in my painting, they volunteered right away and we snapped the photo right on. I will use this photo to paint “Angels’ Whispers” in the oil technique and will add color to the characters and the background.

A sudden realization

In this picture, I am standing on the step, looking down at the signpost for 2nd B Secondary. 2nd B students have to align to this sign during Monday formations at school. In this shot, I can see my shoes from up top. This position reminds me of where I stand in my journey to discover the art world. I am giving my first steps toward the realization of what it takes to share your artwork with the public; dealing with art galleries, promoting your artwork on social media, and more…

Angels’ Whispers on the make..

Work in progress..

Faced with the imminent and devastating news of a serious medical diagnosis, these angels come to meet me, messengers of hope and joy. My new pictorial work will be titled “Angels’ Whispers” in honor of these magical beings that fill my life with cheerfulness and youth. (everything is fine with me. Luckily, it was a wrong diagnosis)
